We received a superb service from Bruce Gray. From the start, communication was quick, efficient and courteous. The Building Survey report that Bruce produced was exceptionally clear and thorough, and contained detailed and helpful advice throughout. Bruce also enquired about any specific concerns or questions that we had about the property prior to conducting the survey, and addressed these with the same clarity demonstrated in the report. The property that we purchased was a mid-Victorian terrace, and Bruce was evidently very knowledgeable about such properties. I'm sure we will be referring to the survey for years to come as we plan the maintenance of the property. All in all, I cannot recommend Grays Building Consultants highly enough. We would most definitely use Bruce Gray again if we move in the future.

The property we are trying to buy needs some modernisation and we particularly valued some of his very appropriate and sensible comments such as saying that the kitchen was dated and worn but with some cleaning and renovation it could be serviceable for a while. This really helped give us confidence that we could move straight in and work on our project house at a slower pace then having to change everything at once. Promptness of response :  Bruce Gray was quick to respond initially, but was rather difficult to get hold of thereafter. However, that is only meant to be a minor comment, generally I was very satisfied with the job he did.
Quality of service :  The report was very well presented, easy to understand and allowed me to negotiate a reduction to the price for the property to cover the requires work on defects.
Value for money :  The price for the survey was less than I had been quoted elsewhere.

Quality of service :  I was really impressed with the survey, both in terms of the detailed content user-friendly format. I have used several different surveyors in the past (including some large surveyors) but Bruce's report stands out as the best one.
