He undertook an extremely comprehensive and detailed survey of a property intended for purchase, and provided a thorough and very helpful report that clearly identified a number of potential risks which informed the ongoing negotiations with the vendor. The report was instrumental in securing a price reduction and enabled an evidence based budget for repairs to be drawn up. Mr McIllhatton is a qualified and accredited civil engineer and this brought an additional dimension to the survey. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr McIllhatton and Royston Cooke to anyone requiring a property survey that goes beyond the purely superficial and baseline practice applied by many consultants. An excellent service and well deserving of a 5 star rating!
