Quality of service : I would not even look at other surveyors and hopefully this review will save you time. Malcolm had very little availability, we can see why, but we managed to get a cancellation and he managed to fit us in. We had looked at other companies listed here but found some very hard sell and we were dealing with the admin not directly with surveyor. The main advantage of Malcolm is he is very good with dealing with questions after the survey and he isn't very easy to contact directly rather than having to go through a company.
Value for money : The survey must have taken hours and was very detailed. Lots of pictures he took helped us understand it all and I cannot imagine getting a better survey. We were able to let him know specific bits we were worried about which was reassuring. Unbelievably Malcolm was the cheapest option. One company actually charged more than quoted when I rang (after putting me in hold for ages) even though the details of the property are given at the start of the search. There's a reason why some of them could go he same week, but in the end Malcom went the following day (cancellation). Lucky!!

Value for money : You pay for what you get is an adage I live by. If it sounds cheap. Malcolm is not the least expensive but he spends hours doing the survey and the detailed report shows not only his diligence but also his ability to write in English that is not only grammatically sound but also not cluttered by jargon.
Professionalism : Professional, mannerly and courteous. I recommend him without hesitation. His detailed reports could save you nightmares and thousands of pounds.
