It was a wonderful experience working with Parry Shields architecture. We recently bought a house which needed extensive renovations including removing an internal wall, building new bathrooms and kitchen and building a new driveway. Parry Shields were able to put together a before and proposed drawing for our whole house, both floors, as well as a before and proposed for our driveway. They did this very quickly and applied for the planning permission for us with the council, something which is quite complex due to living in a conservation area. I would highly recommend Parry Shields Architecture!

Calum and Gabby from Parry Shields were involved right from the start with our extension and were attentive and helpful throughout. We discussed several approaches. Calum came up with drawings and costs for each approach and helped us come to a decision. We decided on a full extension and Calum went on to produce comprehensive architectural drawings, liaised with the structural engineer, and managed the planning permission process. This support was invaluable as it made the process significantly easier for us. We then decided to engage Parry Shields to manage the whole development. This included drawing up and managing all the contracts, putting the work out for tender, and shortlisting and supervising the builders. Calum has a calm and patient approach, and provides thoroughly reasoned analysis, and recommendations. His professionalism instils confidence. Gabby and he work very well together and compliment each other, often finding a solution to a problem by ‘thinking outside the box'. When we had problems and concerns he was able to work through them with us and took the lead with the builders so we didn't have to worry. Calum developed an excellent working relationship with our builders which ensured the build went as smoothly as possible. All in all I was extremely happy with Parry Shields. I would definitely use them again and can't recommend them highly enough to anybody looking for the services they provide.
