I used the directory and that was a satisfactory experience. A list of surveyors with their estimated prices for the work I wished to have done was clearly demonstrated (and presumably accurate - at least for the surveyor I used). The surveyor was Jerry Day from "Jerry Day Surveys" and the job I required was a valuation of a parcel of land that is part of my garden. Mr. Day was helpful in conversation, and was friendly and polite. He regretted that he could not come for a week but promised that his report would be ready very quickly after the task was completed. That suited me and he duly completed the valuation in one week - but the most satisfying piece of his work was the report through my letter box the day after his valuation. I was very impressed with that and the price he charged compared 'ultra-favourably' with others on the list, so I was well pleased and satisfied with the work done. I would certainly use Jerry Day again based on his work on this occasion. Regards,
