Quality of service :  I was very satisfied with the survey report. It was very detailed and the report was very organised.

Second I found iMyHome customer service very good and responsive. with an automated service that perhaps operates on quite thin margins, sometimes customer service can take a back seat but I did not find this to be the case with iMyHome. I had a few queries and they were always answered quickly and helpfully. Their system/ portal works efficiently. I had regular updates and was phoned by the surveyor pre-appointment. May be the portal could do with a bit of an upgrade on the user interface, perhaps test it with members of the public but that said its not too difficult finding your way around it and I had no major issues with their tech

Quality of service :  This supplier sub-contracted Connells surveyors. As can be seen from the internet, their reputation is appalling both for quality and for customer service. Unfortunately, since I was unaware of the identity of the surveyors until after I had had to pay for their services, it was too late to change. Following the introduction by iMyHomes, I contacted Connells by email and telephone with specific requests/instructions regarding the survey. In particular, I asked to speak to the surveyor prior to the survey and afterwards. I was assured in my telephone call that that would be arranged. It was not. The Report prepared by Connells may "tick the boxes" but is useless in so far as whilst a number of apparently important defects were noted, the surveyor could not be bothered to photograph them or even explain exactly where some of them were located. As a result, I have had to commission a second survey at additional cost. I was/am extremely disappointed with the lack of service provided by Connells and suggest that iMyHome needs to be more careful in exercising its quality control so as to provide clients with good quality, trustworthy services.
Value for money :  I was simply "processed" by the appointed surveyors who provided me with a generic report of very low quality.
Professionalism :  iMyHomes were always professional. Their appointed surveyors were not.

Quality of service :  The surveyor appointed (McLaughlins) provided a detailed report but did not meet the 7 working day deadline. I had to contact both the surveyor and IMyHome to chase up the report which was emailed to me two days after the deadline date. The report stated that the property surveyed was freehold and I had to contact the company to let them know that it was in fact leasehold. I have requested an amended report.
Value for money :  I was provided with a detailed report but a little more communication would have been helpful as to why I had not received the report by the quoted 5-7 day deadline. I spent quite a lot of time asking the company to chase this up on my behalf.
Professionalism :  Gemma was particularly helpful in contacting the surveyors to ascertain when I would receive the report and the reason for it being late.

Promptness of response :  We had to wait 4 wks for the Survey to be done. The Company said it was just due to lots of appointments being booked.
Quality of service :  It was very easy to arrange the Survey. I was asked if I had any special requests; which I did. I specifically asked him to check the Conservatory for a water leak as we had seen signs of it previously on viewing the house. The Vendor had said they would get it sorted before selling the house. We wanted to check whether it had been done. We were waiting to Exchange by the time the Survey was done, so I wanted the Surveyor to ring me after he had done it. To which he rang me after he had done the Survey. He reported that he did not find damp. Unfortunately, we went through with the Exchange and Completion soon after. Within a few days of moving in, rain came in through the walls of the Conservatory which we now have to replace! Had this been flagged up by the Surveyor, we could had re-negotiated the price of the property taking into account the fact that we know have to find £12,000 for a replacement Conservatory as its now leaking in 3 places! Reading the T&C's of the Survey it very loosely states that its a matter for there and then at the time of the Survey. So in other words, it was damp when we viewed it, several wks after, it was surveyed and dry, and then we moved in and it was soaking. Not convinced it was worth all the money i'm afraid.

We tried several times over the past 2 weeks to get in contact with the surveyor for advice about this and what we need to do next but they have ignored our calls, voicemails and emails.
Value for money :  No, if I had known my case was to be passed to a third party surveyor with poor reviews, I would not have chosen them. I'll need to get another surveyors advice to know what to do next.
Professionalism :  No contact could be made with surveyor once report was complete so no it wasnt professional.

Promptness of response :  Excellent service, fantastic price, great communication, would thoroughly recommend iMyHome. My initial enquiry was responded to very quickly, survey arranged and carried out and report sent through hassle-free. The enquiry seems to be sent to a local RICS surveyor, mine being Watsons, and then they take it from there. This was the cheapest quote sent to me via Local Surveyors Direct, but the company had good reviews, and I definately agree with them.
Quality of service :  Great Service, I had no problems or complaints whatsoever.
Value for money :  As stated above, this was the cheapest quote I received, but I followed the advice of the good reviews, and I can add my review to all the positive ones sent in already. No problems whatsoever, and great price.
Professionalism :  I had several dealings with the Surveyors and iMyHome, and all were conducted very quickly, clearly and professionally.

Quality of service :  I would strongly agree that iMyHome.co.uk provided a good quality service to meet my requirement, however, I am yet to receive the Homebuyers Report and Valuation from the company they subsequently instructed to do this work - CLC Chartered Surveyors, Swansea. Although the survey only took place on Monday and they quote 5 working days so they have until Monday to deliver this, I did ring them on Weds to ask for an emailed copy but not received yet. The Jury is therefore still out on the overall service I have received request to report.
Value for money :  Again, strongly agree that iMyHome.co.uk gave a good service, but reserve judgement on CLC Chartered Surveyors until I receive my report.
Professionalism :  As above, cannot fault iMyHome.co.uk in their service, but not sure again about the firm they subsequently instructed to carry out the work.
