We provide home reports across Scotland at a time that suits you. Understanding that sellers lead busy lives, Home Report Company was founded to accommodate early morning, evening and weekend appointments while offering the professional service sellers have come to expect from a Chartered Surveying Practice.
Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Home Report Company specialises in providing Home Reports, Energy Performance Certificates and Property Surveys.

Professionalism : I dont know if you provide a standard format for reports, however the report which was provided contained so many caveats regarding what the surveyor had NOT been able access and examine PLUS cautions about what might be happening in those areas I did wonder at the actual utility of the report from a buyers p.o.v.?

Firstly because surveyor visited premises and never told me I had a report form to complete or help me answer the questions. Also never asked for their fee. However today's later an automated email told me I had to complete these transactions before the Report would proceed. Why not speak to me whilst on my premises. POOR Communication. Following receipt of draft report, it took 3 attempts, and 3 separate days to spell my name correctly, although the Company had my correct spelling via my email address.
Professionalism : See above. Also the Home Report Co have poor communication, in that everything is automated, no attempt to personalise, even the Surveyors final report and delay, no attempt to apologise, just automated " here is your report" Please recommend us. Also poor internal communication between surveyor and office, no call back from office following my phone calls or emails until the following day. Also branch address noted as 272 Bath st Glw, no one at that address had heard of this company.

Value for money : If someone was reading his report they wouldn't want to come and view my property, it's my property if I was reading it I wouldn't want to view it, as for the valuation, a two bed bungalow sold 3 to 4 yrs ago in my street for what he valued my property (£130,000) a three bed end of terrace with parking for at least three cars and very large garden a total waste £250.
