Hallwood Associates was established in 2006 by principal consultant and company director Dominic Poston.

Dominic Poston has been involved within the industry since 2000 and has achieved a Batchelor of Science award in Horticulture, the Royal Forestry Society Professional Diploma in Arboricuture, chartered membership of the Society for the environment, is a fellow of the arboricultural association and is a chartered forester and registered consultant.
