I also shared the survey with my father and we were both impressed with how in depth the survey was (A 1960s Bungalow) and had a good snagging list of issues I previously hadn't considered. The cost of the service was also very friendly and a lot more personable than many other surveys. As a result of the survey, and notifying issues with the house I have managed to reduce the price by £4000 on the house I am purchasing.

Website Feedback: I employed Mrs Ellis-Greenway to conduct a survey on a house I am trying to buy. She arrived in a timely manner and conducted the survey with the minimum of fuss, having collected the keys to the empty property from the estate agent. She was very thorough and confirmed my suspicions with regards to a damp issue. She also found more damp spots, which I was not aware of and which were not evident. She identified the lack of gas meter in the property ( it had been disconnected under British Gas warrant )and also advised with regards to support for an upstairs blocked up chimney place. She was happy to climb over years of waste in the garden in order to further inspect a flat roof and she took myriad photographs. Her report is clear, concise and detailed and delivered very quickly. I was left feeling that this lady really knows her onions and would not hesitate to recommend her as her charges are also very reasonable.

She impressed me as she was friendly, professional and thorough. I immediately felt confident that she would carry out a thorough inspection on the Victorian terrace I was buying. I knew it needed work on it but required reassurance that this was affordable and the house wasn't going to fall down (it had been underpinned). She was prompt and provided everything I needed to know including lots of photographs. "I was introduced to Karena, trading as Green Chameleon, by an estate agent and, based on what I read on her website and a chat on the phone, I decided to ask her to undertake a RICS Housebuyer's survey. Leading up to the survey I found Karena to be very approacable on the phone, via text messages and email.
