We are a small local team of highly qualified and experienced engineers, all of whom are Chartered, which is the hallmark of quality and expertise in the Structural Engineering industry. This way, there is no risk of your case being handled by a less experienced trainee, as can happen with larger organisations. We offer a local service with local knowledge, but at the same time, we have the benefit of a well-equipped office with all reference material, technology and facilities required to provide a professional service of the highest quality.
We offer services in structural design and analysis; surveys, inspections and reports and expert witness in litigation. Our combined professional qualifications include M.I.Struct.E., M.I.C.E., F.I.Struct.E, F.I.C.E., and M.I.H.T and the practice is backed by £2M professional indemnity cover. In over 40 years of trading, we have not had a single claim.

I needed a structural Engineer urgently due to subsidence issue with my neighbour. When I called the company, Peter was happy to discuss my concerns and arrange an engineer to attend within a week. His colleague Gervais who attended was very professional and we felt very confident in his ability. I received the report the following week, and am so pleased that issues that were highlighted will now be taken into consideration by the neighbours party wall surveyor. I am extremely pleased with the service we received.

I appointed Abbott Holliday to undertake a structural survey on a Grade 2 listed 18th Century Barn. I gave them very short notice and Peter Holliday was extremely helpful and able to make arrangements for the survey to take place. The survey was very thorough, and the report I received back was very clear, easy to understand together with photographs and a series of recommendations. They fulfilled the brief completely. I recommend their services unreservedly.
