Energy Perform phoned within an hour of my request and did the survey the next morning. Their actual price £40 was about as low as it gets. QLHI Services responded a few hours later by e-mail and one other by phone (I forget which), but the four others didn't respond at all. We used Local Surveyors Direct to search for a surveyor to carry out a building survey on our property in Epsom. The website was easy to use, and it returned lots of very reasonable quotes. We decided to go with Albright Surveyors Ltd in Cobham, and we were very happy with the service provided, and the great price. They managed to fit our survey in at short notice, and emailed us the report when completed so we were able to read through it while away on holiday so we didn't delay our purchase. Overall, a great service, and we would recommend both Local Surveyors Direct, and Albright Surveyors.

I can say that the 'finding' element was brilliant. Having phoned a number of local people who were totally uninterested in a small job, arriving at the website and getting a list of people as a result of a desperate and lengthy, but specific, Google search was wonderful. I received an email from FVS Electrical and phoned Franc in the evening and he came round and did the job on the following evening. Couldn't have asked for better and speedier service. The job was to replace a wireless transmiter in a ceiling fan and when Franc left the remote handset was doing the job. As the fan is not used at this time of the year, I hope it is still working next Summer!
