As surveyors and consultants we are qualified to P402 (Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings) as well as being members of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and the Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management (FAAM).

Commercial Asbestos Survey, Southampton, Hants, S.McCarthy - February 2022Promptness of response : My enquiry with local surveyors direct was simple - I needed to know whether the artex in my 1990 built house contained asbestos. Within minutes of posting my enquiry I was receiving emails and phone calls from potential suppliers. All but one were keen to come and do surveys of the whole house for large sums of money. The only company that proposed exactly what I wanted was Shelter Environmental.
Quality of service : Scott took the time to explain about sampling of asbestos and the problems with kits you can buy for DIY sampling. For the same price as a kit he came and took a sample of the artex, taking all the appropriate precautions, This was a Friday and the following Thursday we had an answer, with a certificate stating that no asbestos was found.
Value for money : Scott offered the best price, very good value.
Professionalism : A very professional supplier. I would use them again for any asbestos related work.
