How to get quick price comparisons (initial estimates)
You can use this website to get lists of contact details for suppliers who offer property services in your chosen area (Energy Performance Certificates, Building Surveys, Homebuyer Reports, Electrical Reports, Architectural Design, etc). In addition to getting contact details, for most services you will also be given an initial set of estimates. This information is given instantly, there is no waiting. You will then be able to make direct contact with these suppliers. Please note that using the website does not cost you any money and does not in any way commit you to placing an order with any of our members.
Click on one of the buttons at the top of the page and select the service that your require. The process to get a set of estimates and contact details then involves 3 quick easy steps as follows:
1. Enter the location details for your property (postcode area and district or complete postcode and address).
2. Enter the details or your property (approx value guess, approx age guess, number of bedrooms, leasehold or freehold).
3. Enter your details (name, telephone number, email address).
In less than a second, the system will produce a full set of contact names of suppliers who provide your chosen service in your chosen area, and where relevant an initial set of estimates will also be produced. This information is presented as a summarised list from which you can click on any of the suppliers and then get a page of more detail about that particular supplier and, assuming the supplier has his own website, you will also be able to click through to investigate further. You can then contact any of the suppliers directly. There is no middle man. Should you place an order, your chosen supplier does not pay commission to anyone.
The system will also send to you by email a summarised set of the supplier’s contact details, for your reference, assuming you have entered your email details correctly.
At the same time the system will also email your details through to each of the suppliers. This can be very useful as some of the more proactive suppliers can contact you if they wish to. It is recommended that you put your correct contact details on the form however if you do not wish your details to be provided to any suppliers, you should enter ‘details not available’ in the appropriate fields.
Once you have looked through your set of contact details and estimates, the system will ask if you would like to make any requests for other services. For example, having obtained a set of estimates for Building Surveys you could click the button for Electrical Reports and immediately get a similar set of estimates for Electrical Reports for the same property.
